The standard warranty for the alternator is 12 months. This covers manufacturing faults and defects. If it stops charging (due to manufacturing fault) during the 12 months the unit will be replaced.

Failure of a compressor is a complex thing and diagnosing why the compressor failed will tell you what else needs to be done to prevent the new compressor failing in a similar way. Consult your auto a/c specialist who will be able to tell you what else needs to be done. |

The filter dryer (or accumulator) will need replacing while the TX valve may or may not need to be replaced. The system may also need a flush. |

Contact us and we will give you the return details for claiming warranty. Once the part has been returned it will be checked and assessed. If the result of failure is a manufacturing fault a replacement unit will be supplied. If you need another compressor and cannot wait for the assesment then you must buy a replacement and this will be credited once the compressor has been assessed if the warranty claim is valid. |

Stray current is caused when electrical current is flowing through the cooling system. This commonly happens when there is a fault in the earthing of some electrical part in the car. As a result the cooling system becomes part of the electrical circuit. This can cause a new alloy core heater or radiator to corrode in less than a week. Any voltage tested in the cooling syustem that is above 0.1 violt need to be fixed. |
